A.3 Relationship cardinality

The conceptual model permits:

one requirement to relate to many land objects and rights;

one land object to be subject to many rights and requirements;

one right to affect more than one land object;

one right to be held jointly by many parties;

one party to hold or represent many rights;

one assertion to rely on several evidence items;

one evidence item to support or challenge several assertions; and

one controlled output to present records from several object classes.

No physical implementation shall collapse these relationships in a way that loses material identity, capacity, extent, temporal validity or provenance.
