Mark Aanensen

I have been involved with the land referencing Industry since 2014, having joined Land Aspects (now WSP) as a land referencer. I am currently a Legislative Compliance Manager/Parliamentary Clerk with Winckworth Sherwood LLP, having joined in 2013.

I have expertise in managing applications (Hybrid Bills, Transport and Works Act Orders, Development Consent Orders and Harbour Revision Orders), working as part of project teams, advising on programming and procedural requirements, plans and sections, Bill/Order schedules, land referencing, consultation and all other procedural aspects of a promotion.

With my background in land referencing, I am able to stress the importance of land referencing to projects that I work on.

Although being directly out of the Industry for a number of years, I am very keen on the promotion of land referencing as a profession and look forward to this Society being used to push forward land referencing within the Infrastructure and Regeneration industries as well as promote best and effective practice.
