Sam Catling

I am a RICS chartered surveyor, registered valuer and fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. I  began my career in 2010, with a small private land agency firm, providing advice on general professional matters to landowners and occupiers, specialising in Compulsory Purchase and Compensation matters. I moved to Dalcour Maclaren in 2017 and worked on a number of small and large scale infrastructure projects, mainly within the Water Industry, advising and delivering the Land Rights Strategy. In 2022, I became the Geomatics Service Lead, consisting of a team now totalling circa 75 Land Referencers, GIS Specialists and Land Surveyors.

I have a real passion for people and I am dedicated to creating a culture and platform that empowers individuals to harness their strengths and potential to help them realise and surpass their aspirations. The SoLR will achieve this for the wider Land Referencing community and I am excited to contribute where I can to help them do so.
