I began my career in land referencing in 2016, working within Mott MacDonald’s Land Advisory team on a variety of small and large infrastructure projects.

I joined the land referencing profession after studying Geography at university and was drawn by its links and use of GIS to highlight and analyse the positive impacts infrastructure projects bring to local and wider communities. My role has evolved over my career and I am currently managing a team of land referencing and geographic information systems experts to deliver UK based infrastructure projects.

I became a chartered geographer in 2023 with the Royal Geographical Society and am passionate about making further connections between our land referencing community and Geography. I’m looking forward to supporting SoLR’s objectives whilst bringing new opportunities to its members by collaborating with other professional bodies.
