proper officer
A senior post in a limited company or registered charity designated to receive official correspondence, including notifications, on behalf of that organization; often the company secretary (addressed as ‘The Secretary’) at the registered office address or another address designed for the purpose of receiving such notifications – see also ‘registered office address’
